A global engineering firm in Monterrey seeks a proactive Customer Service & Operations Planner to support daily operations and enhance customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of manufacturing experience, strong English communication skills, and expertise in production planning. Responsibilities include managing customer inquiries, operational scheduling, and reporting on service performance. Formación

  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, with strong exposure to customer service, planning, or supply chain.
  • Must be conversational with English and able to communicate effectively in meetings, presentations, and discussions.
  • Proven experience in production planning, demand planning, or S&OP within a manufacturing environment.

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Customer Service & Operations Planner to support daily operations while delivering excellent customer experiences. This role bridges customer service and operational planning, ensuring customer needs are met efficiently through accurate scheduling, coordination, and communication across internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, orders, and service requests
  • Provide timely and professional responses via phone, email, or system platforms
  • Resolve customer issues by coordinating with operations, logistics, and other departments
  • Maintain accurate customer records and service documentation
  • Proactively communicate updates, delays, or changes to customers
Operations Planning
  • Plan and schedule daily/weekly operational activities based on demand and capacity
  • Coordinate resources (staff, materials, equipment, or services) to meet operational targets
  • Monitor service levels, workloads, and timelines to ensure on‑time delivery
  • Identify potential operational issues and propose solutions before they impact customers
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
Coordination & Reporting
  • Act as a liaison between customers, operations, and internal teams
  • Prepare reports on service performance, planning accuracy, and customer feedback
  • Track KPIs such as response time, service levels, and fulfillment accuracy
Skills/Experience Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, with strong exposure to customer service, planning, or supply chain.
  • Must be conversational with English and able to communicate effectively in meetings, presentations, and cross‑functional discussions.
  • Proven experience in production planning, demand planning, or S&OP within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in customer service, operations planning, or coordination roles.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/CRM systems (SAP & Salesforce preferred), or planning tools.
