General Fasteners de Mexico is seeking a Customer Service Representative / Material Planner to join our Queretaro office. This role will drive customer satisfaction by fielding inquiries, forecasting demand, and coordinating shipments, while maintaining extensive product knowledge.

The position requires 3+ years in customer service or materials planning, fluency in English, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in customer service or materials planning.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
• Detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Fastener product knowledge (desired).
• Epicor P21 ERP knowledge (desired).
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.

Responsabilidades

• Manage customer relationships for key accounts.
• Receive and analyze customer requirements and forecast.
• Coordinate daily material shipments.
• Update customers on order status and provide tracking information.
• Provide shipment documentation and tracking information to customers.
• Collaborate with Expediting to ensure on-time delivery and manage expedite costs.
• Reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
• Coordinate with Quality and DMR for customer quality claims.
• Track and report sales and inventory data for accounts.
• Process quotation requests.
• Coordinate with Discrepant Material Coordinator for inventory needs and replacements.
• Direct ship authorization as needed.
• Monitor parts for purchase and minimum buys with Supply Chain.
• Coordinate with New Part Coordinator to update MPS/DRP.
• Coordinate with Material Planners to ensure scheduling of materials.
• Follow up with suppliers as needed.

General Fasteners de Mexico is looking for a customer service representative / Material Planner to join our team in our Queretaro office. This person will drive customer satisfaction by fielding inquiries, addressing pain points and maintaining extensive product knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for handling the account relationships.
• Receive and analyze customers’ requirements and forecast.
• Daily coordination of material shipments.
• Inform customers the status of open orders.
• Provide customers with documentation and tracking information of shipped orders.
• Work with Expediting to ensure on-time delivery from suppliers and recover customer-driven expedite costs.
• Reduction of Excess and Obsolete (360+ Days) Inventory.
• Receive customer quality claims and coordinate response with Quality and DMR coordinator.
• Track sales and inventory data related to accounts.
• Report on sales and inventory data related to accounts.
• Processing of quotation requests.
• Coordinate with Discrepant Material Coordinator to communicate inventory needs for rejected material and replacements.
• Responsible for direct ship authorization.
• Initiate Hot Sheets for Quality and Warehouse, as needed.
• Review parts for purchase complete and minimum buys with Supply Chain.
• Coordinate with New Part Coordinator to update MPS/DRP set-ups.
• Coordinate with Material Planners to ensure material is scheduled, as needed.
• Responsible to follow up with Supplier, as needed.

Requirements:

• Must have Bachelor degree or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in customer service or materials planning.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
• Possess excellent communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal.
• Focus on attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines.
• Possess Fastener product knowledge (desired).
• Possess knowledge of Epicor P21 ERP system (desired).
• Demonstrated capacity to proactively handle multiple detailed tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Strong level of problem-solving skills.
• Interacts well with employees at all levels within the organization; able to build and maintain positive working relationships.
