The Customer Quality Documentation Expert ensures professional and timely responses to customer technical documentation requests, specifications, and questions related to BC programs, factories, and products. This role maintains a strong working knowledge of customer requirements, BC food safety programs, BC specifications, regulatory requirements, and claims. The position involves close collaboration with departments such as Food Safety, Microbiology, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial Teams to ensure alignment with internal and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing professional and timely responses to customer technical documentation requests and questions.
  • Conducting customer specification reviews, aligning requirements with BC capabilities, and negotiating alternative options where appropriate.
  • Ensuring customer requirements are integrated into BC Quality Systems, including certificate profiles.
  • Analyzing customer inquiries to identify recurring questions and areas for improvement and efficiency.
  • Identifying improvement areas, defining action plans, and following up on them.
  • Reviewing project impacts regarding customer requirements and providing feedback.
  • Maintaining constant communication with involved parties to preserve documentation integrity.
  • Managing online documentation websites for different user groups.

About you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science/Food Technology or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Food Regulations, GMP, HACCP, and Basic Microbiology.
  • FSMA knowledge is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic food process operations (ideally Confectionery, Biscuits, Snacks, Nuts, Ice-cream, Fillings).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in similar roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in software programs such as Word, Excel; SAP experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages like French and Portuguese are assets.
