A leading global consumer goods company in Mexico is seeking a Customer Development Senior Director to lead the growth strategy for Personal Care and Beauty. You'll be responsible for driving execution and transformation in partnership with key retailers, especially Walmart. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and an understanding of data-driven market strategies, with responsibilities that include overseeing sales performance and nurturing team talent.

Overview

Join us as Customer Development Senior Director

JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking a CD Director Modern Trade BPC in Mexico to drive unmissable growth. This pivotal role will take full ownership of delivering the commercial strategy within our biggest global & local customer in Mexico for the Personal Care & beauty & Wellbeing business in both BUs. As the CBD Lead, you will inspire and collaborate with the Marketing, CSP and Customer Operations, and most important to lead the agenda of unmissable superior execution and transformative business for the most impact business for MT to achieve, challenge short-term and long-term performance.

This role will be directly responsible for €200 million TO and will lead a team of:

  • Lead across teams, the target to double the business in just 5 years join Walmart
  • Leading the CBD team for B&W/PC, and the agenda of greeted executions.
  • Omnichannel agenda (the ambitions to get 5x growth in 3 years)
  • Discipline for executions in every point of sale every day.

This role will lead, coach and guide the team in negotiation processes and serve as the escalation point for senior management in the differences top management areas in WM ( Transformations area (Connect, Operations Team, Commercial & e commerce) and so one.

The successful candidate will report directly to the de CBD BPC Modern Trade Lead.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Lead the strategy of Category Shifts for PC & B&W as well. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including the Customer Head, CSP Leads, CO and Finance teams to ensure strategy alignment. Have the correct network with key senior levers across customers & areas of influence. Ensure alignment with BU PC and B&W overachieving strategy and goals, driving SOM growth for Unilever and for Walmart a consistency way. Ensuring the capabilities of e commerce / Desirable omnichannel Fuel Funnel.
  • Driving Excellent CBD strategy and execution: Oversee the CBD strategy and execution for B&W and PC, including setting targets, managing key accounts, and driving overall sales performance to meet and exceed goals 100% aligned with the Customer Head / CSP. Lead data strategies to enhance market presence and drive growth. Implement best practices to drive demand for our products by getting on the frontline and engaging directly with customers.
  • People & Culture: Lead our “We put people first” strategy building the right culture, engagement, people in the front line. Align the performance-edge with the business strategy trough 4 Pillars, in specific, Culture.
Qualifications
  • Required: Show critical success examples of transformation
  • CBD / CSP Proven track-record
  • Deep understanding of B&W and PC businesses and the ability to apply this knowledge to drive business growth.
  • Experience in partnership and collaboration with retailers in México, specially Walmart & Pure players
  • Experience leading execution field-force for modern trade.
  • Crisis Management examples, and solutions that you lead
