A global logistics company in Ciudad de México is looking for a Credit Specialist to manage customer credit processes and reports. The ideal candidate should have a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, advanced Excel skills, and be eligible to work in Mexico. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to effectively interact with branch offices and manage financial data.

Job Description

The Credit Specialist is responsible for various activities supporting the Credit Department, including working independently, multi-tasking, and prioritizing tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate has the ability to work within deadlines and strives to continually streamline business processes.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process customer credit requests
  • Compile accurate credit scoring and company data
  • Prepare various Credit related reports
  • Obtain, track and reconcile customer financial statements
  • Review financial statements and assign risk ratings
  • Interact with branch offices regarding credit requests, past due receivables, and related issues
  • Respond to branch questions/requests for information
  • Research company information as needed
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to review financial statements
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Well-developed attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Aptitude for learning new software applications
  • Must be currently eligible to work in Mexico
