Banamex is seeking a Credit Analyst 1 to support monitoring, assessing and analyzing financial data under GAAP and bank policy. You will collaborate with Credit Officers and Relationship Managers to ensure accurate analysis and timely execution of credit reviews.

The role focuses on developing professional expertise in credit analysis, with opportunities to contribute to loan pricing, industry specialization, and risk assessment within Citi's framework.

Formación

• Must have strong analytical and financial analysis skills.
• Understanding GAAP accounting and bank policies is required.
• Experience interpreting financial statements and data for credit analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Spread business and personal financial statements and tax returns timely per GAAP and Citibank policies.
• Ensure financial data for simple to complex credits is mapped into the bank's matrix and analysis tool.
• Provide comments to the Underwriter and interact with Credit Officers and Relationship Managers.
• Spread financial statements per bank guidelines with focus on complex statements.
• Provide succinct analysis based on customers, peers, portfolio and industry.
• Perform preliminary credit analysis including cash flow and coverage calculations.
• Coordinate with Credit Officers, Analysts and Relationship Managers.
• Advise on loan agreements and covenants; monitor compliance.
• Complete quality assurance reviews before underwriting.
• May act as an industry specialist for SBA/EXIM analyses.
• Assess risk in business decisions and escalate control issues.
