In this role, you will analyze costs, manage financial reconciliations, and ensure compliance with standards such as US GAAP and SOX. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and possess strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial reporting tools. Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Role Summary: Financial Analyst
As a Financial Analyst at Flowserve, you will evaluate financial data to guide strategic business decisions. You’ll analyze economic trends, assess company performance, and deliver insights into operations across businesses, sectors, and industries.

Key Responsibilities
Cost Analysis & Reporting: Analyze project costs, gross margins, direct charges, and inventory valuations.

Bookings & Backlog Management: Review and ensure accurate monthly reporting of net backlog figures.

Financial Reconciliations: Perform monthly balance sheet and P&L reconciliations in line with US GAAP and local GAAP standards.

SOX Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and compliance with Group Accounting Policies and local fiscal regulations.

Statutory Financial Support: Assist with the preparation of annual statutory financial statements.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

3–5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or accounting.

Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS and SOX compliance standards.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP, and with consolidated financial reporting tools.

Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

Familiarity with Microsoft Access is a plus.
