Job summary

Kellanova in Querétaro, Mexico, is seeking a Credit and Collections Manager to lead the strategy and execution of credit, collections, and accounts receivable across Latin America, protecting cash flow and balancing customer relationships with financial objectives.

You will manage a regional team, partner with Finance, Sales, Customer Service and Supply Chain, evaluate risks, and drive process improvements to optimize working capital and collections performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Credit, Collections, Accounts Receivable, and Credit Risk Management within a multinational or complex business environment.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing regional credit and collections operations across multiple countries.
• Strong understanding of portfolio management, working capital, financial analysis, credit evaluation, and collection strategies.
• Experience partnering with commercial and finance stakeholders to influence decisions, manage risk, and support business objectives.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and reporting, along with experience using SAP, HighRadius, and related financial systems.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Join us as a Credit and Collections Manager and play a critical role in protecting Kellanova’s cash flow, managing credit risk, and driving collection performance across Latin America. This position leads the strategy and execution of credit and collections activities while balancing customer relationships, commercial priorities, and financial objectives. The role requires strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain.

Based in Querétaro, Mexico, you will lead a team with direct and indirect reports across the region, ensuring effective portfolio management, risk mitigation, and timely collection of outstanding receivables. This highly visible role requires close partnership with business leaders to evaluate risks, support decision‑making, and develop strategies that optimize working capital while maintaining strong customer relationships.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead Credit & Collections Operations — Oversee collections, credit management, order release activities, and accounts receivable processes across Latin America, ensuring healthy cash flow and operational excellence.
• Protect Cash and Manage Risk — Monitor portfolio performance, identify credit risks, and implement proactive strategies that balance business growth with sound financial controls.
• Partner With Key Stakeholders — Collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to resolve complex issues, align priorities, and drive business outcomes.
• Lead And Develop a Regional Team — Manage and coach a team of direct and indirect reports, fostering accountability, engagement, and high performance across the organization.
• Drive Performance and Continuous Improvement — Leverage data, KPIs, and process insights to improve collections effectiveness, optimize working capital, and strengthen operational processes.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Credit, Collections, Accounts Receivable, and Credit Risk Management within a multinational or complex business environment.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing regional credit and collections operations across multiple countries.
