Job summary

Clorox is seeking a Credit & Collection Assistant in Mexico to support the Credit and Collection Team. You will manage customer accounts, ensure timely receivables, apply payments, analyzing discrepancies to support credit decisions.

This hybrid role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and 2+ years in FMCG/Consumer Goods, with SAP and Excel experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and an intermediate English level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience, ideally in FMCG / Consumer Goods.
• Experience with SAP and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection activities and customer accounts, including overdue receivables and cash application.
• Analyze accounts and payment trends to identify non-payment patterns and determine collection approaches.
• Collaborate with Sales and internal teams to resolve billing, pricing, payment, and product delivery discrepancies.
• Process refunds and review account adjustments as needed.
• Prepare Accounts Receivable reports and address root causes.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables, applying payments, analyzing account discrepancies, and supporting credit and collection decisions. You will work closely with customers and internal business partners to resolve issues, minimize credit risk, and maintain accurate account information.
