Citigroup Inc. is seeking a developing professional for the Credit Analyst 1 role in Mexico. You will apply specialty knowledge to monitor, assess, and analyze processes and data while enforcing Citi policies and GAAP standards.

The position develops working knowledge of industry practices and requires collaboration with Credit Officers and Relationship Managers to support underwriting and risk assessment.

Formación

• Proficiency in GAAP accounting and financial regulations.
• Ability to analyze business and personal financial statements.
• Experience with credit analysis and spreading software.
• Experience with bank policies and underwriting guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Spread financial statements and tax returns per GAAP and Citi policies.
• Map financial data for simple to complex credits into the bank’s matrix and analysis tool.
• Provide comments to Underwriter and interact with Credit Officers and Relationship Managers.
• Spread new, renewal and interim statements in accordance with bank guidelines.
• Provide preliminary analysis including cash flow, debt service coverage, and collateral.
• Coordinate with Credit Officers, Credit Analysts, Other Credit Center Staff and Relationship Managers.
• Advise on loan agreements/covenants and monitoring.
• Complete quality assurance reviews prior to underwriting.
