Amentum seeks a Crane Operator/Rigger Foreman to oversee crane operations and supervise rigging for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. You will lead crane operators and riggers, ensure safety, and maintain compliance with NAVFAC P-307 standards.

This role requires international travel, valid passport, and ability to obtain required clearances. The position is based on Diego Garcia, BIOT, with a focus on mission readiness and safety in austere environments.

Formación

• Experience operating cranes and performing rigging operations.
• Experience supervising crane and rigging personnel.
• NAVFAC P-307 certified training and valid certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Operate cranes safely according to NAVFAC P-307 and standards.
• Supervise rigging personnel during crane operations.
• Ensure all rigging activities meet safety requirements.
• Provide training and oversight to riggers.
• Review lift plans and assess hazards.
• Inspect equipment and remove unsafe gear.
• Maintain crane and rigging documentation.
• Coordinate daily activities and communicate issues to management.
