Onesubsea is seeking a Completions Engineer (Sand Control) to lead field operations in Villahermosa, Mexico. You will plan, execute, and monitor sand control programs, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery of all job deliverables.

The role requires hands-on experience in sand control, offshore operations, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. English proficiency is required, and travel to field sites may be necessary.

• 5+ years of experience in Completions operations in Oil & Gas.

Completions Engineer (Sand Control)

Location: Villahermosa, Mexico

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Sand Control operations safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer requirements.
• Support the planning, preparation, and execution of completion programs related to sand control systems.
• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Participate in job risk assessments, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams during service delivery and wellsite execution.
• Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards.
• Lead and support Service Quality and HSE initiatives.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships throughout project execution.
• Provide technical support during operational troubleshooting and post-job evaluations.

Requirements

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Completions operations within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Hands-on experience in Sand Control operations is required.
• Experience with gravel pack, frac pack, screen completions, and sand control systems is highly preferred.
• Candidates with experience in Cemented Liner Hangers will also be considered.
• Experience working offshore and with major operators is preferred.
• Experience in customer-facing field operations and service delivery environments.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Sand Control technologies and completion operations.
• Knowledge of completion tools, downhole equipment, and well construction practices.
• Ability to interpret technical programs, procedures, and operational documentation.
• Experience supporting risk assessments and operational planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
