Managing Director / General Manager/ Country Manager

A well-established company with national and international operations is seeking a Managing Director / General Manager to lead its business strategy and overall operations. This is a confidential executive-level search aimed at identifying a dynamic, results-driven leader with a proven track record in commercial strategy, business growth, and operational excellence.

Industry Focus:

Experience in companies dedicated to the distribution and export of industrial materials, serving sectors such as automotive, manufacturing, and petrochemical.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the company’s overall strategy with a strong focus on commercial development and growth through new business opportunities.

Oversee all operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.

Direct cross-functional teams across key areas: sales & business development, operations, finance, and human capital.

Identify and develop new markets, partnerships, and revenue streams to scale the business sustainably.

Optimize internal processes to drive efficiency and performance.

Represent the company with key clients, suppliers, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Promote a high-performance culture built on ethics, accountability, and collaboration.

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of executive leadership experience, ideally as a General Manager, Country Manager, or equivalent.

Proven success in leading commercial strategy and expanding business through new opportunities.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial management skills.

Excellent negotiation abilities and experience maintaining long-term client and supplier relationships.

Experience in structured, performance-driven environments.

Availability for national and international travel.

Valid passport and visa.

Solid knowledge of import/export processes is a strong plus.

Background in industrial sectors such as petrochemical, manufacturing, or distribution is desirable.
