Job summary

A2Mac1 is seeking a Costing Engineer in Queretaro to join our international team. You will carry out cost studies, analyze materials and manufacturing processes, and propose cost-optimization strategies to improve product cost and performance.

You will interact with customers and support project planning, ensuring timely, quality insights. The role requires engineering education and 2+ years of relevant experience, with strong English skills.

Qualifications

Requires fluent written and spoken English (B2 minimum).
2+ years of experience in a major engineering company as a systems/technical design/cost engineer.
Knowledge of thermal systems including cooling/heating and related manufacturing/assembly processes.

Responsibilities

Conduct cost studies using internal tools and methodologies.
Analyze products to understand system/subsystem/components/functions and identify cost drivers.
Benchmark costs and perform value analysis studies to reduce cost.
Prepare study reports meeting quality standards and present results to customers.
Interact with customers during early need analysis and present costing approaches.
