FORVIA is seeking an Acquisition Costing Engineer in Querétaro to develop cost models, analyze data, and benchmark against regions to ensure competitive costing.

You will collaborate with Purchasing and Development teams to secure robust cost information, maintain traceability of cost evolutions, and support program planning.

The role emphasizes cross‑functional engagement, international exposure, and proactive optimization of costing processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Engineering.
• Technical knowledge in products and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to manage uncertainty and stakeholder pressure.
• Demonstrated communication skills, autonomy, synthesis and engagement.
• International mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain cost models and key information from Octoplus.
• Analyze data to develop competitive cost proposals.
• Benchmark against other regions to ensure competitive costing.
• Establish sourcing targets aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain cost evolution traceability for piece costs and upfront.
• Support the program controller in Business Plan updates or Risks & Opportunities estimates.
• Support cost requests to internal/external suppliers and cross-functional teams.
