Formación

• At least four years of proven estimating experience in structural steel or related metals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proficient with digital takeoff software (Bluebeam Revu) and advanced Excel.
• CAD knowledge: AutoCAD or Inventor familiarity.
• Familiarity with US standards and cross-border implications.
• Advanced professional English for daily technical communication.

Responsabilidades

• Quantity Takeoffs and Cost Modeling: perform comprehensive takeoffs from drawings using Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, or similar tools.
• Labor and Material Pricing: estimate shop fabrication and field installation hours, quantities, and costs.
• Surface Finish Estimating: calculate costs for galvanizing, powder coating, painting, and finishes.
• Bid Proposals and Scope Letters: prepare competitive proposals with scope inclusions/exclusions and clarifications.
• Code and Standards Compliance
