Job summary

Johnson Matthey in Querétaro seeks a Cost Accountant to advance cost control, inventory valuation and analysis. You will update material unit costs in SAP, maintain SAP cost/inventory/fixed asset accounts, and perform monthly variance analyses while reviewing quotation costs.

The role requires manufacturing experience, a public accounting degree, and proficiency with SAP, SharePoint and Microsoft tools. We offer hybrid/work-flexible options and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years in manufacturing and automotive industry; general accounting, inventory, costs and fixed assets.
• Bachelor in Public Accounting.
• Experience with SharePoint and advanced Microsoft tools and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Determine and update material unit costs in SAP.
• Maintain SAP cost, inventory, metal and fixed asset accounts.
• Monthly inventory valuation and variance analysis.
• Review sales quotation costs.
• Control provisions for slow-moving inventory, freight and absorptions.
• Reconcile cost of sales versus accounting.
• Perform plant cost analysis.
