Flex in Guadalajara, North, is seeking a Cost Accountant to support our teams who build great products and contribute to our growth. This role reports to the Controller and involves preparing and maintaining accounting records, and researching accounting postings to prepare statements.

The position focuses on P&L reviews, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting, and collaborating with Operations to improve metrics. English and Excel skills are required.

Formación

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Knowledge of variation reports vs forecast.
• Intermediate-Advanced English level.
• Knowledge and Experience with Excel.
• Schedule flexibility and availability to support business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform periodic review of P&L to ensure postings align with defined policy, process and procedures.
• Compare Actual with Forecast/Quote and ensure variances are researched and adjustments posted.
• Collect business reasons for variances and report appropriately.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts with sub-ledger and ensure variances are addressed.
• Review accounts periodically to identify potential risk and mitigate.
• Assist with forecast/budget for related accounts and coordinate with Operations to improve metrics.
• Follow Controllers Handbook and regulatory reporting requirements.
