Sanmina in Apodaca, NL, seeks an experienced Cost Accountant to maintain cost accounting systems, control operational inventory, and deliver financial reports that support operational decisions and corporate financial accuracy.

Responsibilities include managing standard costing, month-end close, cost allocation, and variance analysis. You will partner with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Quality teams while maintaining Oracle ERP data and integrity in a dynamic manufacturing plant.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on cost accounting in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with Oracle ERP including Cost Accounting, Inventory, and Manufacturing modules.
• Advanced English for business meetings and reports.

Responsabilidades

• Cost Accounting System Management: Develop, implement, and maintain standard costing systems and procedures.
• General Ledger & Month-End Close: Prepare journal entries, reconcile ledger accounts, and execute month-end cost accounting closure.
• Cost Allocation: Collect operational data to allocate costs for labor, machinery, depreciation, assembly, and overhead.
• Variance Analysis & Reporting: Prepare financial statements, cost variance reports, and special analyses as requested by management.
• Business Partnership: Interpret financial reports and operational metrics for plant leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Oracle ERP Administration: Maintain accurate inventory valuations, cost sheets, and transactional data within Oracle.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure data integrity.

We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant for our manufacturing plant located in Apodaca, N.L. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cost accounting system, controlling operational inventory, performing variance analysis, and delivering financial reports to support operational decisions and corporate financial accuracy.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field (Graduated)
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on cost accounting experience within industrial manufacturing plants
• ERP System: Proven experience working with Oracle ERP (Cost Accounting, Inventory, and Manufacturing modules)
• English Proficiency: Advanced English (capable of conducting business meetings, presenting reports, and collaborating with global leadership)
