Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, SCM, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of maritime logistics or port operations experience.
• Experience in Acapulco or similar major port.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping terms, customs procedures, and maritime regulations.
• Proficiency with port operations, container handling, and intermodal transportation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced port environment.
• Proficiency with relevant logistics software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel scheduling, container tracking, and cargo management for shipments in Acapulco.
• Liaise with shipping lines, stevedores, port authorities, customs brokers, and trucking companies.
• Monitor international shipping regulations and ensure compliance.
• Optimize container yard operations and inland transportation from port.
• Manage customs clearance procedures and documentation for imports and exports.
• Analyze port data to identify efficiency, cost, and service improvements.
• Develop relationships with maritime and logistics stakeholders.
• Resolve operational disruptions related to port activities.
• Prepare reports on vessel movements and cargo volumes.
