Confiz is seeking a remote Conversational Designer based in Mexico to join our growing Digital Experience team in LATAM. This role blends language, design, and technology to craft purposeful, intuitive, and human-centered conversational interfaces.

As a Conversational Designer, you will collaborate across enterprise accounts to design engaging, brand-aligned interactions for chat applications, virtual assistants, and AI tools. While familiarity with AI workflows is a plus, this is not a prompt engineering role—what matters most is your ability to write with clarity, design human interactions, and adapt in a fast-evolving tech landscape.

Responsibilities

• Research user needs, behaviors, and goals for each AI-infused project to inform conversational flows.
• Design conversation scripts, dialogue patterns, and interaction models for AI assistants and chatbots that reflect empathy, context awareness, and personalization.
• Define and maintain voice, tone, and style guidelines across accounts.
• Collaborate with UX, product, and engineering teams to integrate conversational design into broader solutions.
• Incorporate analytics and user feedback to refine clarity, reduce friction, and improve engagement.
• Plan for edge cases and design for graceful recovery when interactions fail.
• Ensure conversational experiences meet accessibility and inclusivity standards.

Qualifications

• Strong command of written and spoken English; native fluency preferred, high proficiency required.
• 3+ years in copywriting, UX writing, technical writing, or similar communication-focused roles.
• Familiarity with common AI-powered tools and their interaction styles.
• Ability to write concise, clear, and brand-consistent content for varied audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in cross-functional teams.
• Background in linguistics, human-computer interaction, psychology, or related field is helpful.
• Experience designing both text and voice-based interfaces.
• Familiarity with conversational design tools and usability testing methods.
• Awareness of evolving AI capabilities and trends in conversational experiences.
