Job summary

KION Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Analyst to support assembly operations on the production floor, documenting processes and driving improvements through Lean methods and data-driven analyses.

The role includes creating process documentation, updating routings in SAP, assisting with poka-yokes and tooling, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to boost safety, quality, productivity, and delivery. This is a 15-month, on-site opportunity in Mexico.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a similar role.
Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Advanced English proficiency required.
Onsite full-time availability in Mexico.
Experience with SAP/ERP is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Support the definition, update, and implementation of manufacturing processes for assembly operations.
Create and maintain process documentation, including PFMEA/AMEF, flow charts, and work instructions.
Assist with design and implementation of poka-yokes, fixtures, and production tools.
Analyze assembly line capacity and support SAP routing updates.
Participate in continuous improvement projects focusing on KPIs.
Track CAPA activities and support corrective actions.
Update layouts and support cross-functional teams on process changes.
Provide basic troubleshooting and training support.
