A leading automotive company is seeking a Controls Manufacturing Engineer to implement new programs and ensure production efficiency at their facility in Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, at least 2 years of experience, and knowledge of PLC and HMI technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide direction to less experienced engineers are essential. This role does not support immigration sponsorship.

Formación

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Responsabilidades

  • Implement and execute new programs in manufacturing.
  • Design and install electrical control systems.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of production processes.

JR-202518809 Controls Manufacturing Engineer


Responsibilities


  • New program implementation/execution (SOR prep, forecasting, controls/robotics design, equipment build/run-off and buyoff)

  • Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch and continuous improvement

  • Maintaining awareness of new controls technologies (PLC, HMI, networks, robot, vision) of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high quality parts

  • Managing deliveries to program timing milestones

  • Providing project report outs to senior management

  • Existing program/site support (troubleshooting, etc.)

  • Providing technical direction to less experienced controls engineers.

  • Designing and troubleshooting of electrical controls systems

  • Work may involve development and testing of advanced process technology


Required Skills


  • Education: Mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics

  • English: Advanced Intermediate (Conversational)

  • Experience: 2 years in

  • Knowledge of software: Siemens, Allen Bradley, Fanuc

  • Knowledge of automation

  • Knowledge of PLC

  • Availability to travel
