ZF Foxconn is seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer / PLC Programmer in Toluca, Mexico to design, develop, and program PLC systems supporting manufacturing, assembly, and safety operations. You will provide daily technical support for PLCs, hardware, software, and production-floor applications.

The role involves implementing IT security standards, optimizing equipment performance, and collaborating with global teams to drive automation improvements while training end users on shopfloor

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and program PLC systems and automation solutions to support manufacturing, assembly, and safety operations.
• Provide daily technical support for PLCs, hardware, software, and related production-floor applications.
• Implement and maintain engineering, connectivity, and IT security standards for industrialization and digitalization projects.
• Optimize performance of technical assembly equipment (presses, nut-runners, wheel alignment systems) and perform integration testing.
• Identify process and automation improvement opportunities and align with process experts and global teams.
• Develop, configure, and adjust PLC software per ZF FOXCONN standards, including signal mapping and parameter configuration.
• Train end users and provide support on shopfloor solutions, ensuring correct usage and updates.

Realize programming, technical support and improvement of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) program and the production IT hardware to guarantee a smooth production flow.

• Design, develop, and program PLC systems and automation solutions to support manufacturing, assembly, and safety operations.
• Provide daily technical support for PLCs, hardware, software, and related production-floor applications.
• Implement and maintain engineering, connectivity, and IT security standards as well as documentation for industrialization and digitalization projects.
• Optimize and adjust the performance of technical assembly equipment (presses, nut-runners, wheel alignment systems, etc.) and ensure functional and integration testing.
• Identify process and automation improvement opportunities and align these initiatives with process experts and global teams.
• Develop, configure, and adjust PLC software according to standards ZF FOXCONN, including signal mapping and parameter configuration.
• Train end users and provide support on shopfloor solutions, ensuring correct usage and system updates.
