Job summary

HARMAN in Mexico City seeks a Controlling Business Partner to support monthly closing, perform GL reconciliations, and act as an auditor for local purposes, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals. You will update accounting controls per global requirements and assist audits.

The role involves coordinating with internal and external auditors, reviewing invoices and Ariba processes, and maintaining vendor records. A hybrid setup requires 3 days in-office.

Qualifications

• Accountant or related degree with experience in monthly closing, audit and analysis.
• 3+ years of proven experience in accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong information management.
• Familiarity with SAP 4Hana and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly pre-closing and closing processes including GL revisions and JE postings.
• Review and load GL reconciliations and supporting documents.
• Coordinate external and internal audits and validate information for auditors.
• Act as local auditor reviewing invoices, prices, and PO conditions.
• Maintain vendor files and perform vendor due diligence.
• Support new vendor valuation and updates to controlling processes.
