Schneider Electric is seeking a motivated student to support continuous improvement efforts in a manufacturing environment. You will help drive productivity, quality, safety, and operational excellence through data analysis and Lean tools.

Responsibilities include leading 5S activities, creating dashboards in Excel and Power BI, and participating in Kaizen events and Gemba walks. Onsite work in Tlaxcala, with growth opportunities in operations and analytics.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics or related fields.
• Graduation date within 12-24 months (August 2027 or later).
• Availability to work onsite in Mexico.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

What will you do?

Your Impactful Responsibilities

• Support Continuous Improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Lead and sustain 5S activities across manufacturing and warehouse areas, including audits, action tracking, and visual management implementation.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.
• Create dashboards, reports, and performance metrics using Excel, Power BI, and other digital tools.
• Participate in Kaizen events, workshops, Gemba walks, and problem-solving activities.
• Support root cause analysis using methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis.
• Assist in value stream mapping, process documentation, and workflow optimization initiatives.
• Track project actions, timelines, and results to ensure sustainability of improvements

• Ability to create clear process documentation and visual management materials.
• English communication skills preferred.

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Data Analytics or related fields
• Graduation date within the next 12-24 months (August 2027 or later)
• Availability to work onsite.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics.
• Experience with Power BI, Minitab, SQL, Python, or other analytics tools is desirable.
• Intermediate English proficiency preferred.
• Strong academic performance and demonstrated interest in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement
