Job summary

Bombardier is hiring a Continuous Improvement Agent at Aerospace Mexico (B.A.M) in Querétaro. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, coordinating Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and improving value streams across the organization.

You will work with operations directors and managers to implement 5S and TOC concepts, while building knowledge and coaching teams for sustainable gains. This position emphasizes collaboration, communication, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience developing continuous improvement projects in the industry.
• Experience with strategic planning methodologies like Hoshin Kanri or Balanced Scorecard.
• Excellent written communication skills and advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Improve the value stream within the business, ensuring efficiency and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Integrate and promote Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, Gemba Kaizen, and Theory of Constraints concepts.
• Coordinate and implement continuous improvement methods to reduce waste and variability while boosting cost and quality performance.
• Assess the maturity of the operational excellence system with operations directors and managers.
• Strengthen workplace organization by implementing and monitoring 5S principles.
• Contribute to organizational knowledge management and capacity building through coaching and training.
• Participate in annual planning cycles, using analytics to improve performance and achieve goals.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Improving the value stream within the business, ensuring efficiency and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Integrating and promoting process improvement concepts such as Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, Gemba Kaizen, and the Theory of Constraints (TOC).
• Coordinating and implementing continuous improvement methodologies aimed at eliminating waste, reducing process variability, and increasing operational performance, prioritizing those areas with the greatest potential for optimization in terms of cost and quality.
• Assess the maturity of the operational excellence system in collaboration with the operations directors.
• Strengthen workplace organization through the proper implementation and monitoring of the 5S principles.
• Contribute to organizational knowledge management, as well as to capacity building through coaching, training, leadership, and effective communication activities, in alignment with Bombardier’s Operational

• Assess the maturity of the operational excellence system in collaboration with the operations managers.
• Strengthen workplace organization through the proper implementation and monitoring of the 5S principles.
• Contribute to organizational knowledge management and capacity building through coaching, training, leadership, and effective communication, in alignment with Bombardier’s Operational Excellence system and performance management processes.
• Actively participate in the annual planning cycle, using analytical and improvement tools to strengthen operational performance and ensure the achievement of organizational goals.

How to thrive in this role?

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience developing continuous improvement projects in the industry.
• Experience with strategic planning methodologies, such as Hoshin Kanri or the Balanced Scorecard framework.
• Excellent written communication skills.Advanced English proficiency.
• Professional certifications in Project Management (PMI) and Lean Six Sigma are preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
