Job Description :
Within the Industrial Control & Drives Line of Business, we are looking for a Continuous Engineer to manage and ensure our product maintenance for variable speed drives offered for the North American market. Your main activities will be
· Commercialized offer technical maintenance
· Mechanical design on enclosed product.
· Electrical schematics creation.
· Ensure UL certification requirements are respected across the product lifetime.
· Identify risks and issues and manage the associated corrective action plans.
· Enable the decision-making process.
The d rives domain mixes many technologies and associated challenges that are core to Schneider Electric’s mission to electrify and digitize its customers, such as:
· Power Conversion and Motor Control
· Application Control or Functional Safety
· Ethernet, Web Servers, and DTM
The Drives team’s mission is to become the leading global specialist in motor control solutions for a Safe, Reliable, Productive and Efficient usage of Energy, through innovation, simplicity, and operational excellence.
This position will report to the Drives’ Global Optimize & Ecodesign Leader based in Japan and interact with Marketing, Design, Verification & Validation, Industrialization, Purchasing, Quality, Technical Publication, Certification, and Manufacturing teams distributed across every continent.
