A major financial institution in Mexico City is seeking an accountant to manage accounting inputs, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with IFRS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating reconciliations, trial balances, and supporting documents for audits. Proficiency in Excel and understanding of accounting policies are essential for success in this role.

Formación

• Experience with preparing accounting entries and policies.
• Ability to generate trial balances and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with preparing balance sheets and financial statements.

Generate accounting inputs (bank reconciliations, trial balances, working papers), reconcile/adjust the trust assets at the end of the month through accounting policies, issue financial statements and financial reports of the trusts based on current regulations (IFRS), prepare regulatory reports applicable to the trusts, attend audits from external offices, and ensure alignment with the Bank's accounting policies that apply to the trusts.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accounting entries and policies.
• Generate bank reconciliations and trial balances.
• Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity, Cash Flow Statement) and notes to the financial statements.
• Prepare reports in Excel, including basic formulas, dynamic tables, and database management.
• Prepare work papers and support documents for financial statement audits.
• Have basic knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
