Quasar Medical Tecate S.A. de C.V. seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to direct the accounting function in a multi-company environment. You will oversee general ledger, month-end close, and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and GAAP.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany balances, cash flow analysis, and tax filings while maintaining SOPs and government compliance. Fluency in English and strong leadership skills are required.

Formación

• CPA degree required.
• 8–10 years of experience in general accounting.
• Advanced English with strong reading and writing for presentations and negotiations.

Responsabilidades

OBJECTIVE: Directs and Coordinates subordinates engaged in maintaining Accounting and Financial information that reflects the Company’s Operation and will aid in decision making in a multi-company environment

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

• Applies Accounting Principles, IFRS and GAAP
• Manage the organization's general ledger and ensure the integrity of all financial transactions
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, allocations, and account reconciliations
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide recommendations to leadership
• Maintain supporting schedules for key balance sheet accounts
• Assist with preparation of internal and external financial reporting packages
• Oversee all bank account reconciliations and treasury-related accounting activities
• Ensure timely resolution of reconciling items and outstanding transactions
• Monitor cash activity and support cash flow reporting and forecasting efforts
• Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
• Maintain fixed asset records and support capital project accounting
• Partner with operations and equipment teams regarding asset purchases, inventory, and utilization.
• Management of all government compliance requirements.
• Oversight of the accounting team.
• Ensuring payroll control.
• Coordination and preparation of annual tax filings.
• Ensuring timely and proper payment of general taxes.
• Oversee maintaining up-to-date government operating permits.
• Timely compliance with federal and state tax obligations.
• Oversee Annual tax filing
• Electronic accounting
• Responsible for the Preparation of Financial Statements as well as filing reports to the different Government Agencies
• Verifies Contracts, Purchase Orders, Vouchers and Supervises the preparation of reports
• Maintains the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Financial Function

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: CPA Degree.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 8 to 10 Years within General Accounting.

LEVEL OF ENGLISH FLUENCY: Advanced (Reading and Writing that allow fluid

Presentations and/or Participation in Negotiation Processes).

COMPUTER USAGE:

Intermediate (Use of Office: Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Etc) or Application Programs.

Application Programs: ERP software (IFS desirable), CONTPAQ, SUA, TRESS.
