Virtual Construction Assistants seeks an Assistant Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion in Monterrey, Mexico. The role focuses on schedule and budget adherence, safety and quality compliance, and collaboration with project teams and contractors.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field, is bilingual (Spanish and English), and has proven PM experience with proficiency in PM software and MS Office.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) required.
• Proven experience in construction project management or a similar role.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• Proficiency in estimating and scheduling tools for construction.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning and overseeing construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and construction crews.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timelines and deadlines are met.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
• Resolve issues that arise during construction and escalations when necessary.
• Assist in evaluating project costs and providing cost-control measures.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
