ICON plc is seeking a Configuration & QC (C&Q) Specialist I to join our Mexico City team. This hybrid office role supports ICON Central Laboratories by configuring and amending the clinical trial database (LIMs) to ensure data integrity and project alignment.

You will assist project managers and setup specialists, perform QC checks on study data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve data reliability in clinical trials.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field.
• 1+ years of clinical data management, data entry, or laboratory experience, preferably in pharma/biotech.
• Familiarity with LIMS information management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist ICL Project Managers and Setup Specialists in configuring and setting up the clinical trial laboratory database to ensure accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
• Perform quality control checks on the clinical trial database and study documentation to identify discrepancies and data-entry errors.

We are currently seeking a Configuration & QC (C&Q) Specialist I to join our diverse and dynamic team.

As a C&Q Specialist I at ICON Central Laboratories (ICL), you will play a pivotal role in building and amending laboratory specifications within the clinical trial database (LIMs),

contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

What you will be doing

• Assisting ICL Project Managers and Setup Specialists in the configuration and setup of clinical trial laboratory database ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Performing quality control (QC) checks on clinical trial database and study documentation to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and data entry errors.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including ICL Project Management, ICL Setup Specialists and Scientific Affairs to address QC findings and ensure data integrity and reliability.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field
• 1+ years of experience in clinical data management, data entry, a laboratory environment or related role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Familiarity with information management systems (such as LIMS).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data-related issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and processes.
