The Position

The Compliance Coordinator leads and manages a Compliance function and team in the assigned affiliate within the assigned division. Plans, manages, and directs compliance operations. Typically responsible for strategies and tactics for the systems and processes related to healthcare and privacy compliance, ethics and related compliance areas. With team, monitors adherence to legislation, company policies and procedures, and emerging compliance trends to assure local adherence among other responsibilities.

The Opportunity
  • Supports and coordinates a Compliance program and function in the assigned affiliate within the assigned division. Plans, coordinates, and organizes compliance operations.
  • Responsibilities may include compliance reporting, healthcare professional contracting, donations, commercial sponsorships and educational funding to comply with legal, local, regional and global requirements.
  • Conducts risk based monitoring activities according with established programs and procedures
  • Supports and coordinates adherence to applicable regulations, legislation, company standards policies and procedures, and emerging compliance trends to assure local adherence.
  • Ensures timely and accurate data analysis to identify trends or patterns of complaints.
  • Coordinates and manages deployment of compliance training and coordinates with legal and other partners/stakeholders in development of compliance training.
  • Manages compliance systems, including design, implementation and management of processes to ensure adherence, while minimizing impacts to productivity to assure sustainable results.
  • Manages compliance and transparency auditing and self reporting before Council of Ethics and Transparency of the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Works closely with other departments, such as medical affairs, marketing, quality, regulatory affairs, legal among others.
  • Develops and implements strategies to minimize the risk of non-compliance.
Who you are
  • University studies completed and graduation as a Lawyer, with 5-8 years of experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the regulations and standards applicable to the pharmaceutical industry are required
  • Experience in anti-bribery, competition law or administrative/public law is a differentiator
  • Experience in data privacy and digital law
  • Experience in implementing and enhancing compliance programs, including training,processes, internal controls and investigations, and risk management
  • Advanced English proficiency is required
