The Uniswap Labs team is building DeFi protocols to unlock value through universal exchange. We envision a future where digital economies flourish, and markets are transparent, global, and equitable.

The Uniswap Interface, the Uniswap Mobile App, and the Uniswap Extension are powered by the Uniswap Protocol. The protocol is the largest on-chain marketplace, with billions of dollars in weekly volume across thousands of tokens on Ethereum and 8+ additional chains.

Responsibilities:

To grow Uniswap Labs via organic and community efforts in LATAM. Also, to continually share product feedback and market intel to drive Uniswap Labs’ growth and success in LATAM.

1. Be in the mix, be deep in the local crypto community. Represent Uniswap Labs everywhere — and share market intel back with HQ.
2. Serve as representative in Discord, triaging across internal Uniswap Labs teams, spanning support, developer relations, and community.
3. Actively advocate for Uniswap Labs’ brand and technology in relevant community channels, including Telegram, to develop a local, loyal, and growing community.
4. Organize small local meet-ups with clear outcomes of educating and promoting Uniswap Labs’ developer tools.
5. Propose joint efforts with relevant crypto projects in the region to increase activation.
6. Provide weekly reports on activities, metrics, and new proposals.

Requirements of the role:

1. Background as a community manager with deep technical expertise on trading protocols.
2. Self-identified crypto degen who has deep involvement in the crypto and in particular the crypto trading community over several years in LATAM.
3. Deep understanding of Uniswap protocol and related products to the point where they can answer most questions about how to use, value props, comparison to other products/protocols, etc.
4. Deep network within and across projects in LATAM crypto communities.
5. High integrity and ability to align to Uniswap Labs’ brand and presence standards.
6. Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese, and English.
7. Willingness to travel to NYC 1x/quarter as needed.
8. Willingness to work US ET hours 1-2 days per week.
