Descripción del empleo

Slalom is investing in the growth of our Latin America team by launching a Communication Excellence training program focused on English communication, consulting presence, feedback skills, team dynamics, and leadership effectiveness.

This fixed-term role, through the end of 2026, will support a high-impact pilot across Colombia and Mexico. The person in this role will work closely with LATAM capability leaders, Allshore program leadership, Slalom Talent Enablement, local market leaders, and selected pilot participants to design, build, and deliver a practical communication curriculum tailored to Slalom consultants.

The goal is to create a repeatable program that helps our fastest-growing employee base communicate with greater confidence, deliver more effectively with global teams and clients, and develop core consulting behaviors aligned to Slalom’s culture.

What You’ll Do

As a Communication Excellence Program Lead, you will help design a curriculum and deliver a pilot program that blends English communication development with Slalom consulting skills and leadership behaviors. You will:

  • Build a practical communication curriculum for LATAM consultants, tailored to either Colombia or Mexico
  • Adapt and integrate existing Slalom learning content, including feedback, team dynamics, leadership communication, and professional development concepts
  • Incorporate communication frameworks such as structured feedback, managing conflict, accountability, team dynamics, and productive “drama” reduction
  • Design differentiated learning paths for two pilot audiences:
    • Leader cohort focused on feedback, coaching, client/team communication, and leadership presence
    • Non-leader cohort focused on English confidence, consulting communication, client readiness, and team collaboration
  • Assess participant communication strengths, English proficiency, confidence levels, and development needs
  • Deliver pilot cohort sessions before year-end, including workshops, practice sessions, coaching, and applied exercises
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group coaching for participants preparing for client conversations, presentations, interviews, demos, or team leadership situations
  • Create supporting materials such as facilitator guides, participant guides, exercises, practice scenarios, rubrics, and progress tracking tools
  • Partner with program sponsors to define success metrics and capture pilot feedback
  • Recommend how the program should scale in 2027, including full-time role requirements, curriculum improvements, and ongoing delivery model

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for someone who combines strong English language instruction capability with practical experience developing professionals in a corporate, consulting, or technology services environment.

  • Strong English fluency and communication coaching experience, ideally in a business, consulting, technology, or client-service environment
  • Experience designing and facilitating adult learning programs, preferably with both leadership and non-leadership audiences
  • Ability to teach practical business English, including meetings, presentations, client conversations, storytelling, escalation communication, and written communication
  • Comfort coaching professionals across varied English proficiency levels, from intermediate to advanced
  • Understanding of workplace feedback, team dynamics, conflict resolution, coaching, and leadership communication
  • Ability to localize learning to the communication patterns and development needs of either Colombia or Mexico
  • Strong facilitation presence, with the ability to create psychologically safe, engaging, and practical learning experiences
  • Ability to build curriculum quickly, iterate based on feedback, and produce reusable materials
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and comfort working with leaders across multiple teams
  • A bias for practical application over academic instruction
  • Experience working with consulting, technology, professional services, or global business teams
  • Familiarity with corporate learning programs, leadership development, or talent development
  • Experience coaching professionals for client-facing roles
  • Experience creating assessments, learning rubrics, or measurable development plans
  • Bilingual Spanish / English fluency – ESL certified or ESL training experience
  • Experience supporting teams in Colombia, Mexico, or broader LATAM business environments
