Job summary

ZF Group in Monterrey, MX seeks a Commodity Buyer Intern to support data maintenance, supplier interactions, and RFQ tracking. The role combines office tasks with on-site collaboration in a hybrid setting and requires a minimum of one year left in an engineering, business or administration degree.

Ideal candidates have strong MS Office skills, English proficiency, and an interest in Power BI and SAP; the position offers a monthly allowance and a path for professional growth within ZF.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering, business or administrative degree with at least 1 year left before graduation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office apps.
• English proficiency—oral and written.
• Power BI and SAP are desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and quarterly data system maintenance (prices, information, etc.).
• Interact with global automotive companies and suppliers.
• Identify new local supplier base and cost saving opportunities.
• Support new projects launches and follow up supplier topics daily.
• Monitor and upload RFQ status and perform data maintenance.
• Benchmark, compare, and analyze RFQs from suppliers.

What you can look forward to as Commodity Buyer Intern:

• Data system maintenance in monthly and quarterly basis (prices, information, etc)
• Interact with global automotive companies
• Identify new local supplier base and cost savings opportunities
• Support New projects launch and daily follow up of supplier topics.
• Monitor and upload RFQ status and system data maintenance
• Benchmark and compare and analysis RFQ from supplier Base.

Your Profile as Commodity Buyer Intern:

• Hybrid work - 3 days at office and 2 at home.
• Adaptative schedules depending flexibility of applicant.
• Currently enrolled in an engineering, business or administrative degree (minimum 1 year left before graduation).
• Microsoft Office apps knowledge.
• English advanced - oral and written
• Power BI and SAP desired but not mandatory.
• Available to do minimum 1 year of internship with aim of develop a profesional carreer inside the company.
