Sensata Technologies is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Industrial Business Unit. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting revenue planning, forecasting, reporting, and market analysis. You will partner closely with the Business Unit Leadership Team, coordinating the development of revenue forecasts and delivering data-driven insights through advanced analysis and visual reporting in Power BI. This is a highly collaborative role suited for someone who thrives on turning data into strategic decisions and enjoys working cross-functionally in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.

General Responsibilities
  1. Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
  2. Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  3. Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
  4. Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  5. Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
  6. Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, and tools.
  7. Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
Experience / Qualifications
  1. A university degree required (i.e. Bachelor's degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  2. Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  3. Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
  4. Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
  5. Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
  6. Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  8. Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.
  9. BS Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or Statistics.
  10. 2-5 years relevant experience in product research, financial planning and analysis, or demand forecasting.
  11. Presentation skills.
  12. Ability to articulate assumptions, methods, and results to peers and management.
  13. Demonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
  14. Demonstrated proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI and Access.
  15. Demonstrated experience in working with regression analysis, financial forecasting, and statistical analysis.
  16. Experience working with foreign currencies preferred.
  17. Experience working with Oracle ERP and Oracle Demantra tools preferred.
  18. Ability to work in a collaborative global environment under tight timelines.
  19. Business-to-Business and/or industrial manufacturing experience would be a plus.
