Job Summary
Manage the sales product cycle, from the very beginning to final sale. The Commercial Director is expected to be the key point of contact for customers and global teams regarding business strategy, clinical information, training, events, scientific projects and sales. Ensure the execution of business strategy in the region.
Main Responsibilities, Activities, Duties and Tasks
- Create and execute business plans to optimize product performance. Align strategies with business goals and financial targets
- Analyze the market and customers’ needs to develop a strategy for business expansion
- Build relationships within the radiology community. Gather insights on market trends and competitive strategies to uncover opportunities and promote Bracco value proposition
- Active participation in proposals including negotiation and post-sales follow-up: participation in private or public negotiation processes: trading sessions, price taking, adhesions, etc
- Work with sales and marketing teams to craft campaigns and tactics. Strengthen brand positioning, awareness, and adoption while increasing revenue and market share
- Define and monitor monthly, quarterly and annual goals with the sales force and distributors (net sales, margins, results on account, profitability of lending, among others)
- Partner with Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs & Global Marketing to manage and control the budget, prepare marketing and business plans, prepare promotional materials and prepare administrative documents
- Manage the commercial relationship with corporate representing Bracco Mexico
- Ensure all actions and interactions align with the established Code of Conduct, always maintaining integrity and professionalism
- Reports preparation and submission such as: Commercial Performance, Opportunities, Logistics Planning, among others
- Represent the company with key opinion leaders, medical society and customer leadership team
Supervisory Responsibilities
- The sales organization in Mexico will report to this role – approx.. 15-20 people
Education
- BA/BS Degree in a relative field required, MBA preferred
Professional Experience, Knowledge & Technical Skills
- 15+ years of experience in marketing, product management, or sales, with 8 years in leadership managing commercial team
- Preferred experience: public/private sectors, pharmaceutical healthcare industry or medical devices (diagnostics industry is preferred)
- Expertise: sales management, and financial & planning management
- Skills: cross-functional teamwork, strategic planning, adaptability, critical thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, presentations) skills
- Project management skills and proficient in tools like Excel, PowerPoint and AI
- Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities
- Must be fluent in English

Work Environment
- The position is office based (Mexico City, Mexico)
- Travel requirements 30-40% Domestic; 10% International travel is required
