Jobtailor in Monterrey seeks an experienced in-house attorney to draft, review, and negotiate NDAs and other commercial agreements. You will sign off on complex terms, manage high-volume contracts, and provide legal judgment for escalated issues that affect business units across the company.

The role requires a JD, bar admission, and at least 8 years of experience in commercial contracting, with fluency in English and comfort using CLM/AI-enabled tools.

Bar admission or equivalent licensing authority in good standing.
8+ years of post-qualification legal experience in commercial contracting.

Descripción del empleo

Draft, review, negotiate, and provide legal sign-off on mutual and one-way NDAs
Handle escalated and non-standard terms requiring legal judgment
Potentially expand the Center of Efficiency’s work to customer, vendor, master service, and other scalable repeatable agreements
Define and maintain risk positions, fallback language, and approval thresholds
Serve as legal reviewer and escalation point within the support model
Ensure alignment with legal standards, risk appetite, regulatory requirements, and data-protection requirements
Advise the Chief Corporate Counsel and relevant GCs on legal risk trends
Contribute legal input to NDA intake, triage, escalation processes, playbooks, RACI, templates, and training materials
Support business adoption across business units, the General Counsel community, procurement, and commercial teams
Support KPI reporting and governance, including cycle time, escalation rate, rework rate, legal hours saved, and self-service adoption
Support the controlled pilot and phased rollout of the NDA model
Contribute to capacity planning and hiring recommendations
Support self-service and technology or AI-enabled tools for routine NDAs in coordination with Legal Operations

Requirements

Law degree (J.D. or equivalent) from an accredited institution
Admission to the bar (or equivalent licensing authority) and in good standing required
8+ years of post-qualification legal experience in commercial contracting
Strong command of NDAs and other high-volume, repeatable agreements
Experience building or transforming a legal process, function, or program; experience standing something up from scratch highly valued
In-house or high-volume legal environment experience strongly preferred
Fluency with legal technology, CLM, and AI-enabled tools
Proficiency in English required; additional language skills a plus depending on region
Change-management and stakeholder-influence skills
Familiarity with GE Vernova's industry sectors (energy, power, electrification, wind) is a plus
