Amgen Mexico is seeking a Commercial Access Senior Manager (CDMX) to lead contracts and pricing strategy across public and private sectors, partnering with Sales, Market Access, Finance and Legal to drive growth and patient access. You will oversee tender opportunities, institutional accounts and governance, ensuring compliant, data-driven decisions.

Formación

  • Master’s degree with 6 years of experience in commercial operations, pricing, market access, contracts, tender management or related functions OR Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience.
  • 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources.
  • Proven experience managing government tenders and institutional business within the Mexican healthcare system.
  • Strong understanding of Mexico’s public and private healthcare environment, including procurement processes and pricing dynamics.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).

Responsabilidades

  • Develop and execute the overarching commercial contracts and pricing strategy for both public and private sectors, aligned with Amgen Mexico’s business priorities and growth objectives.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the commercial organization, enabling competitive and sustainable business decisions through data-driven insights and market analysis.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Finance, Legal and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives and customer strategies.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and propose innovative commercial models to enhance business performance and patient access.
  • Lead the evaluation, planning and execution of government tender opportunities, ensuring competitive and compliant participation in public procurement processes.
  • Develop strategic approaches for institutional accounts and public sector negotiations to strengthen Amgen’s position with healthcare authorities and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, policy changes and healthcare reforms impacting pricing, tendering and institutional business.
  • Ensure strong governance and compliance standards throughout all tendering and contracting activities.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations with customers, distributors, wholesalers and healthcare institutions to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Continuously optimize contracting processes, frameworks and operational execution to improve efficiency and customer experience.
  • Partner with Finance and ensure all pricing and contracting activities comply with local regulations, corporate policies and industry ethical standards.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Contracts team, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Foster an inclusive and agile work environment aligned with Amgen’s values and leadership attributes.
  • Build organizational capabilities through talent development, succession planning and strategic resource management.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Monitor and analyze commercial performance indicators including revenue, profitability, market share and contract effectiveness.

Commercial Access Senior Manager (CDMX)

The Commercial Access Senior Manager will lead the development and execution of Amgen Mexico’s commercial contracting and pricing strategy across public and private sectors, ensuring sustainable growth, competitive positioning and operational excellence.

This role serves as a key strategic partner to Commercial, Market Access, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain and external stakeholders, driving innovative contracting models, pricing strategies and tender execution to maximize business opportunities within the evolving Mexican healthcare environment.

The position will play a critical leadership role in identifying and assessing government tender opportunities, strengthening partnerships with healthcare institutions and optimizing commercial performance through strategic negotiations and compliant contracting practices.

Additionally, this leader will oversee a high-performing Contracts & Pricing team, fostering collaboration, agility, accountability and customer-centric execution aligned with Amgen’s values and leadership behaviors.

Commercial Strategy & Business Partnership
  • Develop and execute the overarching commercial contracts and pricing strategy for both public and private sectors, aligned with Amgen Mexico’s business priorities and growth objectives.

Pricing & Contracting Excellence

Basic Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Life Sciences or related field and 6 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry in commercial operations, pricing, market access, contracts, tender management or related functions OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Life Sciences or related field and 8 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry in commercial operations, pricing, market access, contracts, tender management or related functions
  • 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources.
  • Proven experience managing government tenders and institutional business within the Mexican healthcare system.
  • Strong understanding of Mexico’s public and private healthcare environment, including procurement processes and pricing dynamics
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal.

  • Experience in specialty care, biotech or innovative pharmaceutical products.
