nVent is seeking a Credit & Collections professional in Monterrey to lead large, high‑risk customer accounts, resolve past‑due invoices, and maintain strong relationships while ensuring adherence to contractual terms. You will review credit holds and assess risk with internal partners to protect exposure.

Lead large, sophisticated, and high‑risk customer accounts, serving as a primary point of contact to resolve account issues, fulfill documentation requests, and maintain strong customer relationships. Engage directly with customers to resolve past‑due invoices, ensuring collections are completed in accordance with contractual payment terms and proactively addressing delinquency through regular aging reviews and follow‑up including customer portals. Review and disposition credit hold orders, partnering with internal collaborators to assess risk, support timely order release decisions, and protect company credit exposure. Provide mentorship and expertise to team members on complex accounts, sharing effective approaches and supporting resolution of advanced or non‑standard credit and collections issues. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and other business teams to resolve customer delinquency issues and support effective account management. Prepare and analyze reporting related to current revenue, unbilled revenue, deferred revenue, discounts, and collections performance, and distribute standard and ad‑hoc reports to business partners and management. Participate in and lead initiatives for operational improvement to enhance credit and collections workflows, improve efficiency, and strengthen controls. Contribute to acquisition integration planning and execution, supporting the alignment of credit, collections, and customer account processes for newly acquired entities. Ensure compliance with nVent policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations, while supporting month‑end close activities, audits, and internal control requirements. Apply a practical approach to problem‑solving, focusing on outcomes, continuous improvement, and effective risk management.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance (Accounting preferred).
Minimum of 3 year of experience in Credit & Collections or related areas such as Cash Management, Credit Management, Customer Support, or Collections.
