Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a Collection Analyst LATAM in Guadalajara to manage accounts receivable and collections across LATAM. You will apply customer payments in SAP, resolve discrepancies, and maintain customer relationships while coordinating with Sales, Credit, and Treasury.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Business/Accounting/Finance and 1–5 years in collections, with advanced Portuguese and English. Hybrid work setup in Guadalajara is offered along with growth opportunities.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, cash application, or similar.
  • Understanding of AR and collections processes.
  • Advanced Portuguese (mandatory) and advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

  • Perform timely and effective collection of past due accounts to reduce DSO and support cash flow objectives.
  • Process, post, and apply customer payments in SAP, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation with open items.
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, including overpayments, short payments, and deductions.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and ensure integrity of accounts receivable records.
  • Communicate with customers to follow up on payments and resolve disputes professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Credit, Accounting, Treasury) to resolve billing and payment issues.
  • Monitor collections performance and elevate significant delinquencies or risks when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, notes, and customer account records.
  • Support invoice delivery, customer portals, and exception handling processes.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and support special projects.

Role Overview

As a Collection Analyst LATAM, you will support the accounts receivable and collections processes across LATAM, ensuring timely and effective collection of past due accounts, accurate cash application, and resolution of discrepancies while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

What you will bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, cash application, or similar areas
  • Understanding of A/R and collections processes
  • Advanced Portuguese (mandatory) and advanced English proficiency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
