With a focus on transparency, education, and personalized service, they guide clients through every step of the mortgage process. Their goal is to make homeownership accessible and stress-free by offering expert advice and tailored loan options.

About the Role:

The client, a mortgage broker, is seeking a highly motivated Virtual Sales Assistant with strong cold calling and appointment setting experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance, accounting, or mathematics, and be confident speaking with prospective clients in number-focused conversations. You will be provided with leads and are responsible for converting those into booked appointments using tools such as Calendly. This is a performance-driven role with a base hourly rate and generous commissions for each closed loan. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply due to the client’s expansion into the Florida market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound sales and cold calls to potential mortgage leads
  • Set and manage 30-minute appointments on the broker’s calendar
  • Engage in finance-related conversations with prospects to assess loan needs
  • Manage and track leads in a spreadsheet and/or CRM system
  • Follow up with leads to maintain engagement and increase conversion
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, contacts, and results
  • Provide feedback and suggest improvements for sales and scheduling tools

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, cold calling, and appointment setting
  • Background in finance, accounting, math, or a related field
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Confidence discussing numbers and financial topics with clients
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work U.S. hours (7–8 hours/day between 9AM–8PM)
  • Familiarity with tools like Calendly and Google Sheets
  • Tech-savvy and able to adapt to new systems quickly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish-speaking ability is a major plus
  • Previous experience in the mortgage, real estate, or lending industries
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like HomeBot or similar platforms
