Valeo Sistemas Electronicos SA de CV in Mexico is seeking enthusiastic CO-OP/Interns to join the Development & Support (DVS) team. This role offers hands-on experience in automotive electronics, working with embedded software and hardware and learning from seasoned engineers.

You will design, develop, test, and troubleshoot components, participate in reviews, and help document progress while gaining exposure to state-of-the-art automotive technologies.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Strong academic record.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Prior internship or project experience in a related field is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of embedded software and hardware components for automotive electronic systems.
• Support the DVS team in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues related to ongoing projects.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation creation, and requirements analysis.
• Contribute to the implementation of new features and functionalities in existing and new products.
• Learn and apply various development tools, methodologies, and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Provide support for validation and verification activities.
• Document progress, findings, and solutions accurately and comprehensively.

• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., C, C++, Python).

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Prior internship or project experience in a related field is a plus.
