Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Manufacturing Trainee/Apprentice to contribute to the design, development, and testing of detection systems for automotive platforms. You will work with C++ or Python, embedded systems, and sensor technologies under supervision.

You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced automotive technology environment, collaborating with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams while creating documentation and test plans.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Strong understanding of programming concepts, with experience in C++ or Python preferred.
• Familiarity with embedded systems or real‑time operating systems is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of sensor technologies (radar, camera, lidar) and signal processing advantageous.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
