Job summary

Valeo is seeking enthusiastic individuals for a CO-OP/Internship/VIE opportunity within our MRO team. This role provides hands-on experience and foundational training in industrial maintenance at a leading automotive supplier.

The position offers exposure to preventive maintenance on production machinery, diagnostics of mechanical/electrical issues, and involvement in continuous improvement initiatives within the department. Strong teamwork and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed technical degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong interest in industrial automation and maintenance processes.
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and/or pneumatic principles.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with routine preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues under supervision.
• Participate in repair and replacement of faulty components following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Support MRO team in maintaining records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and equipment performance.

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals for a CO-OP/Internship/VIE opportunity within our MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) team. This role provides hands-on experience and foundational training in industrial maintenance within a leading automotive supplier.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians with routine preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues under supervision.
• Participate in the repair and replacement of faulty components, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Support the MRO team in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and equipment performance.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
• Gain exposure to various manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Complete assigned projects and tasks to enhance practical skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a technical degree or diploma in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in industrial automation, machinery, and maintenance processes.
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and/or pneumatic principles.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a plus.
• Availability for a full-time CO-OP/Internship/VIE period.
