Job summary

ESAB in Hermosillo, Mexico seeks a production supervisor to ensure volume, cost and quality targets are met. You will organize material flows, manage inventory, and oversee schedules and staffing to reach production goals.

You will monitor processes, identify problems, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role includes directing subordinates per guidelines and developing the team to maintain efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensures production volume, cost and quality of production and production schedules are met.
• Organizes material flows and inventory to reach production targets.
• Monitors production processes and staffing levels and implements production schedules, methods, and processes.
• Identifies problems and proposes solutions and/or improvements of the production process.
• Focuses on implementing and executing strategies within production operations.
• Maintains compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
• Receives assignments in the form objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
• Directs subordinates on predetermined work assignments which are completed using established guidelines, procedures and policies.
• Supervises Support track employees and may occasionally perform similar work as their subordinates.
