ESAB in Hermosillo, Sonora seeks an experienced machinist to plan, lay out, set up, operate and adjust a range of machine shop equipment. You will use blueprints, process sheets and sketches to manufacture precision metal parts for assemblies.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, can inspect tolerances, repair minor malfunctions, and may lead a team or act as a subject matter expert for the work area. Communication with engineers is essential.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in machining or metal fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, and sketches.
• Experience in setting up and operating machine shop equipment.
• Ability to identify and repair minor malfunctions.
• Ability to work with engineers on part assemblies.
• Ability to lead a team or serve as SME.

Responsabilidades

• Plan assignments and layout for machining tasks.
• Set up and operate machine shop equipment and adjust tools.
• Inspect completed work against tolerances and quality standards.
• Communicate with engineers to understand part assemblies and requirements.
• Identify and repair minor malfunctions and preventive issues.
• May act as team lead or SME for the work area.
