Anthony Machine in Veracruz, Mexico is seeking a CNC Machinist / Setter to set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, producing precise parts efficiently in a busy shop. You will read engineering drawings, apply GD&T, write or edit G-code, and verify dimensions with inspection tools while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Se habla espanol.

Experience with tool changes and setup optimization is a plus. Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and programmers to optimize cycles and ensure quality

Formación

• Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Proficient with inspection tools and documentation.
• Adherence to safety procedures in a machine shop.

CNC Machinist / Setter

CNC Machinist is a industry professional, skilled in setting and operating CNC lathes and /or CNC mills and other conventional machine shop equipment as well as understanding materials and metal cutting processes. They set machine tools in order to produce quality machined parts in the most efficient way working together with the manufacturing engineer and/or CNC Programmer. In addition, they are proficient with Fanuc CNC Control, G-code reading and ability to edit or write.

CNC Machinists should be trained in reading engineering drawings & specifications and have a basic knowledge of GD&T. Adhering to quality assurance procedures is mandatory; therefore our machinists must be proficient in the use of inspection tools and diligent in their documentation. Following safety procedures and rules as well as maintaining equipment and an organized work area is required.
