Caterpillar Inc. in Mexico is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development and capital projects that improve safety, quality, velocity and production capability at the Santa Catarina plant.
You will coordinate equipment procurement, install CNC centers, develop manufacturing layouts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve on-time startups and continuous improvement. This role requires a mechanical or industrial engineering degree and English proficiency to support
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
- English proficiency to communicate with international suppliers and teams.
Responsabilidades
- Lead CNC machining center evaluation and selection for projects.
- Develop capital expenditure scopes, cost estimates and schedules.
- Coordinate equipment procurement and supplier alignment.
- Define equipment specs and assess design feasibility.
- Coordinate installation, commissioning and startup activities.
- Apply machining knowledge to support turnkey solutions and launches.
- Create manufacturing layouts and engineering drawings (AutoCAD).
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance and Purchasing.
